About Karen

I've been working in the healthcare field for over 10+ years. I worked in a nursing home for three years and a hospital for five years. I've worked in a group home for mentally challenged individuals for eight years. I currently work for a home nurse company part-time. I am a Certified Home Heath Aide with current CPR certification. I also completed workshops in medication administration, abuse, neglect and exploitation also vision loss and mental health. My previous duties have included personal care, repositioning, errands, light housekeeping, Hoyer lift, transfers, exercise and meal preparation, and assisting clients with major mental health disorders lead a normal productive live with proper ADL's. I love assisting clients in any way I can that would make their lives worth living. I have been working with seniors for the last five years. I love it, sometimes you're all they have. I'm very compassionate caring and reliable, I love what I do.
