I have been teaching for over 20 years with a Master's in Early Childhood. I am an energetic, flexible, patient, and creative storyteller who loves to do yoga, read stories, dance, and have fun. I prefer younger children but I have taught sixth grade middle school as well. On my time off, I love to ski, go river rafting, scuba diving, hiking, camping, and traveling. I have my background check, CPR/first aid, and reliable transportation with a clean driving record. I can cook, clean, run errands, and help with some homework. Smoke and drug free and am fully vaccinated.

Karen has been our nanny for the last two years and I would highly recommend her for any childcare needs. She's reliable, punctual, communicative, and wonderful with children. Karen had a wide range of responsibilities while nannying for our family. She was responsible for helping our 2nd grader with all of her remote work and homework. She also implemented a structured day for our younger two, which included circle time, reading, and art. Once school returned to in-person, Karen continued to assist with homework and reading practice. In summer, she would fill the kids' days with trips to playgrounds, the zoo, the botanic gardens, the children's museum, the butterfly pavilion, and the pool. Karen is extremely active so keeping up with young children wasn't an issue. In addition to her nannying duties, Karen performed light housework, ran errands, baked, and did laundry. Karen has been a huge help to our family over the last few years. Your family would be lucky to have her!
