I am a mother to 4 grown kids. I am also a grandmother to 3 grandchildren ages 14, 10 and 9 months. I retired a few years ago after working 30 years for the same company in Washington dc. I am a young 55-year-old. I have experience with infants, toddlers, school age and twins. I love kids and will give your child lots of attention. Kids love me because I am hands on. I have no problem getting on the floor and playing with your child as well as going outside to play. I also love reading to them and doing crafts. The parents I babysit for tell me that their child gets excited when they hear I am coming to babysit them. My job is to make your job easier leaving them in goods hands while you are gone. I know how hard it is to leave your child with someone. Looking back now I know I should have given my relationships more work and should have hired babysitters every now and than. If you are happy in your relationship it makes it easier dealing with your kids. Live and learn!
