I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, puzzles, and educational activities with children. I have a college degree and provide care for children aged 0-11, but I specialize in ages 1-5. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I have a car, and I am comfortable with pets. I am happy to travel and supervise swimming. I am comfortable caring for up to two children. Karen has been with our family for 6 years, she loved and cared for our kids like family. Very kind, caring and dependable.

Karen cared for our child from age 3 months to 1 year. She was very dependable and flexible. She kept the house tidy, which made for easier evenings. She poured hours of love into my child, which is something that means the world. She truly cares for the children she works with and expresses it in everything she does. 

Karen worked for us for the last year.  Karen was incredibly dependable and she always left the house clean.  It was so wonderful to come home to a calm house. In addition, our little one became more loving under Karen's care. We miss her terribly.  She will make a great addition to any family.

Karen is a wonderful nanny. She was the first person outside of our own family that we trusted our daughter with. She is loving, warm, and professional. Always on time and very dependable! She goes above and beyond; the house always looks the same - typically even better - than it did when we left it. There is no doubt that she loves children - and they love her. Our daughter adores her and has a wonderful time with her. We would have loved to keep Karen with us longer but sadly my own career path won't allow it for now. Whatever family ends up finding Karen is lucky and will be so pleased! She will be greatly missed in our home. I would highly recommend Karen to any family looking for an amazing nanny!

Karen was a wonderful addition to our family.  She is dependable and took great care of our children and our home.  She is consistent and structured while also being fun and loving, she helped them grow in so many ways.  We highly recommend her and will miss her now that our children are growing and moving on to new adventures.  We are very grateful for everything she has done for our family.

We have had Ms. Harmon as our child care provider for our (4 1/2 year old) boy/girl twins since January of 2011. At that time, we had some concerns about our son regarding social development delays. Ms. Harmon has been a wonderful child care provider and has done an exceptional job of encouraging, challenging, and teaching while assisting us in maintaining a positive and healthy environment for both of our children in their own developmental process as individuals. She is a very loving, compassionate,  and nurturing individual, while being consistent with the rules and helping to reinforce good manners as well as sharing, listening, turn-taking, and other appropriate behaviors. 
We feel very blessed that she came into our life when she did and feel that both of our children have grown physically, emotionally, and socially with her support, guidance, and consistent routine. She comes to our home, provides meal/snacks for the children, provides art/crafts activities, music time, learning activities, daily reading opportunities, outdoor time (as weather permits). During the time that she has been with us, we have transitioned from full time to part-time in an effort to transition our children into a full-time preschool/school setting. We have been very pleased with her child care services and would highly recommend her to any future families.

To whom this may concern,

My husband and I both work full time and during the spring of 2010 we needed an after-school child care provider for our six year old son. I met Ms. Harmon through care.com and she started providing Child Care services for my son immediately.

My son felt completely safe and secure with her in our home. Ms Harmon offered to play games, do art activities, as well as prepared snacks. The kindness which she showed to our son was outstanding. She always left our home as clean (or cleaner) than we left it.  She was always on time and extremely reliable, especially on days with inclement weather.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Ms. Harmon  as a child care provider for any other family in need of day care services. With her background experience and strong abilities to connect with children, she can definitely offer everything a family would be looking for in a provider.
