For the last year and half I have worked private duty with a great individual who currently moved into residential care. I now work as a HHA during the day. Prior to that, I had 15 years of Management, taking care of adults with disabilities. I have also worked in skilled facilities on the Dementia unit and Physical rehab units. I have experience and am comfortable working with all types of scenarios. I am honest, dependable and hardworking and I show up. I cannot do heavy lifting. I can assist with transfers. I can help cook meals, light cleaning, medications, errands, entertainment, hygiene, dressing. At the end of the day, we all need to know our family member is safe and being cared for properly.
