About Karen

Hi! I'm Karen, I am a native Spanish speaker, and Spanish has always been at the heart of how I raised my own two children - speaking, reading, and writing it fluently and correctly. It was always a priority for me to teach them not just to speak Spanish, but to read and write it correctly too. Most recently, I cared for a premature baby for a year and a half, speaking to him only in Spanish from 3 months old to help build a strong bilingual foundation. I love combining structured learning with playful, natural conversation - songs, games, stories, and everyday interaction - so children stay engaged while building real fluency. I'm comfortable tutoring one-on-one or in a small group. My top skills are patience, creativity, and communication. I take pride in creating a warm, encouraging environment where children feel confident using Spanish every day.
