About Karen

Hi! I'm Karen, a cheerful, adaptable caregiver who loves working with children. I raised my two children full-time, now 23 and 21. Most recently, I spent a year and a half caring for a premature baby, starting at 3 months old. I worked closely alongside his mother to provide consistent, attentive care, speaking to him only in Spanish to help lay the foundation for bilingualism. At 1 year 10 months, he's about to start an early learning program, and my time with him is coming to an end soon. I focus on building trusting relationships with families, respecting parents' wishes while bringing my experience as a mother and caregiver. I'm committed to a nurturing, positive environment where children can thrive. Bilingual in Spanish and English, my top skills are patience, creativity, and communication. I take my role seriously while finding joy in bonding with the children I care for.
