About Karen

I am a nurturing caregiver with a strong desire to foster children's growth and development. With many years of experience, I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and have a passion for making a positive impact on children's lives. I believe in supporting families and providing a reliable childcare option for them. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with my friendly and approachable nature, allows me to build strong relationships with the children in my care. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am also a skilled swimmer and would love to teach your children how to swim! I've raised four of my own children and have experience with children of all ages, from infants to teens. I have taught preschool to grade six for over 30 years. I am happy to communicate with parents about their child's day, either verbally at pickup or through regular updates via text or phone call, whichever the parents prefer.
