About Karen

Hello families! My name is Karen, I am a caring and responsible person who truly enjoys working with kids. I was an Au Pair for two years, where I cared for two children (8 months and 2 years old), and I also have childcare experience from my home country, Colombia. These opportunities taught me how to manage routines, create fun activities, and provide a safe and loving environment. I love teaching my native language, Spanish, and sharing my culture through cooking, outdoor activities, and exercise things I believe children would find fun and inspiring. I am also a safe and confident driver, and I am pet friendly. Working with kids is special to me because it's not only about teaching, but also about learning from them. Their curiosity and creativity inspire me every day. I first started caring for children as a teenager by helping with my younger siblings and cousin, which gave me a natural sense of protection and taught me patience and responsibility.
