About Karen

I am currently available for the summer! I am currently a nanny for a family with 2 children, ages 2 &5. My primary responsibilities are with the 2-year-old, as the 5-year-old is in school full-time. I have been with them since the "baby" was 4 months old. We spend our day playing, singing, painting, counting, as well as a multitude of other activities! I am currently looking for a full or part time position for the summer, as one of the parents is a teacher. About me: I am an empty-nester with two grown daughters, both who share my love for children & learning (an early childhood educator and a doctor of physical therapy). Most of my career has been in the corporate world & I am finally at a place where I can change that and do what I've always wanted to do. I have a strong belief in the importance of early childhood education & believe that a nanny should be more than just a babysitter. I am a non-smoker & have my own transportation.
