About Karen

Hi! I'm Karen, a bilingual (English/Spanish) tutor with a Bachelor's degree and over 7 years of experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring both children and adults. I love helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and discover that learning can be fun. In addition to my professional training experience, I serve in my church's children's ministry and as an Awana leader, where I work with children ages 2-10 through engaging lessons, activities, and small-group learning. I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach to meet each student's unique needs and learning style. Whether your child needs help with math, reading, English, study skills, homework, or test preparation, my goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where they feel supported and motivated to succeed.
