I have been a credentialed teacher for over 30 years and have had the privilege of working in a variety of programs, grade levels, and subject matter. For the last 7 years I have had the honor of working for the Encinitas school district as a yoga, health and wellness instructor, and reading intervention teacher. My school has special day classes with students who are unable to be in the general education classes full time. I have worked closely with special education teachers in helping their students mainstream into my yoga enrichment classes. I have always believed in teaching the whole child. It has been a passion of mine to help children succeed and reach their fullest potential. All of my years of experience with children coupled with my patient and compassionate nature make me an ideal caregiver and/or teacher for any special needs client.
