In the Fall of 2019, I resigned from 12+ years in rewarding leadership roles at a world famous estate in Asheville, NC in order to have flexibility to do more of the things that I love in my life. I am seeking a part time position where my skills and personality are a good fit with the needs of an individual/family. I am reliable, kind, and compassionate. I am highly skilled in verbal/written communication and organizational skills. While I do not have a medical degree or background, I worked in a nursing home during high school and college. I was the main caregiver for my mother who struggled with dementia for the final years of her life. I have CPR/First Aid training for infants, children and adults.

Karen is an extraordinary caregiver to our elderly dad. She is totally reliable, punctual and trustworthy. She communicates with us after each visit, and identifies any needs or concerns she thinks might be important. She takes him grocery shopping and to appointments or outings. Our dad looks forward to each visit. She is kind and truly cares about him. I feel as confident with her as if one of my sisters or I were there. I cannot say enough good things about her. We are so blessed to have her.
