About Karen

I'd describe my personality as warm, kind and helpful I like interacting with seniors because I enjoy hearing about their life experiences, they often don't have enough companionship, and many can still be active members of the community with just a little help. I'm looking for a job in which I can make a senior's day to day life a little easier, provide them with some pleasant company, and take confusing or difficult tasks off their shoulders I started caring for seniors when my father in law developed Parkinson's disease. I would drive him to his exercise classes, help make up his med box, help him manage his doctor appointments, and eventually assisted moving my in-laws into an independent living community. In my spare time, I like to read, shop, and spend time with my five children. One thing you should know about me is I am very conscientious. I show up on time, I'm dependable, and I take my commitments seriously.
