I have worked with seniors primarily in a hospital based setting. I have experience working with those will depression, dementia, and Alzheimer's. I cared for both of my Grandmothers in my home until the end of their lives. I enjoy twirling with people of all ages, but have a special fondness for the elderly. I have been working in schools for the past 4 years, all of my clearances are up to date, I am happy to send copies.

Karen helped my 83-year old father with a variety of projects during what turned out to be the last couple weeks of his life. In addition to shopping, cooking and physically helping him, she got him to Jefferson Hospital, a three block trip, using a wheelchair. This was an all-day project, and she worked with me over the phone as I didn't live in the same city as my dad. She was an amazing partner to have, and my dad really liked and trusted her. He spent two weeks in the hospital and finally passed away from kidney failure. If not for Karen, I don't believe my father would have made it long enough for my sister and I to see him before he passed away. Karen's work ethic, resourcefulness, kindness, toughness and practicality are at the highest level. I will be forever grateful to her.
