I've just finished 11 years of service to a couple who entered a nursing home in August. I'd love to do the same for you! I love caring for the elderly and helping them to maintain their dignity and being able to stay home as long as they can. I have over 25 years of experience. I have trained and am licensed in several hospitals and homes. I have worked for nursing agencies since 1981 and also in hospitals in private care cases. I'm highly skilled in care giving, hospice and respite care, and companionship. I've worked with diabetics, stroke patients, wheel chair bound patients, and dementia patients. I am available and seeking a full-time position plus hours in personal care giving, companionship, preparing healthy home-style meals from scratch, light house keeping, meds, reminders, and doctor's appointments. I'm compassionate, with down-to-earth qualities, and a nonsmoker. I love animals, reading, sewing, needle work, knitting, gardening, and decorating. I love bringing joy and happiness to my patients by making their day brighter. I am faithful, and dependable. I listen to details of patients and families, and dutifully carry them out.
