I've 30+ years experience in most home care fields. I've offered child care and personal care in my home as well as in the home of the individuals whom I cared for. I worked in an assisted living facility for 9 years. I'm experienced with procedure, maintenance and administering medications, wound care, feeding tubes, catheters and colostomy bags also experience operating a hoyer lift. I'm very familiar with the devastating affects of Dementia and Alzheimer's of an individual and their families. I believe in positive reinforcement, acknowledge and praise all efforts and accomplishments and stimulate the mind/memory with encouragement and enthusiasm. I strongly and passionately strive to not only improve health and medical issues.... I feel that the QUALITY of life should be nurtured as well. I am BLS and First Aid certified.
