About Karen

Aside from past work in a veterinary clinic, fostering multiple goldens and being a handler fora working therapy dog, as well as holding a volunteer position with Golden Retriever Rescue of Houston (GRRG), most recently I have kept multiple goldens in our home while their owners have vacationed. One thing that is very important to me is safety. Even when I've had a secure yard, any dog in my care is only ever walked outside on leash with constant supervision while outside. I have also trained multiple goldens and feel comfortable teaching basic commands.
