Hello! I am able to work 4-27 hrs/wk, MTWThF, 1-4 days per week, 4-9 hrs/day, depending on your needs and the location of the job. I am available one weekend per month, up to 12 hours per day. 
I have worked in family's homes, daycare, public and charter schools, and church nurseries for roughly 28 years. I am a 55-year-old Christian woman who has a passion for children. I absolutely loved the 7 years I invested in my daughters' lives as a stay-at-home mom. For me, working with children isn't a job. It's a blessing and a privilege!

Karen took care of my one year old and was a fantastic caregiver! She was very sweet and kind. She was very attentive to the needs of my little. Karen gave great advice to me as a first time mom. She also took great care of my little when I gave birth to our second child which helped me tremendously in my recovery. Any family would be lucky to have her!

Karen took such wonderful care of our two little ones (3 and 1 at the time of care). My husband was stationed near her for a one year assignment.  The kids and I traveled down several times throughout the year and Karen helped watch them while I worked remotely at the rental.  She kept them entertained, brought activities, prepped snacks/meals and kept things tidy!  We wish she lived closer, we would use her all the time!

Karen was an absolute blessing to our family. My kids absolutely adore her. She matched their energy, showed them love, and was very patient  with them. She was also very helpful with household chores. She even made thoughtful and functional suggestions to help me keep things organized. I would 100% recommend Karen for any family.

Karen is a great mothers helper! We have grown from 2-3 children during Karen's time with us and she has helped make the transition a smooth one. She not only cares for and entertains the kids but helps with light cleaning, meal prep, kids laundry, errands and whatever is asked, which is exactly what a Mom to three little ones needs. 

Karen is a fantastic child care provider! She's very punctual and wiling to work with our slightly unpredictable schedule, and my son adores her. She's incredibly hands-on with him and he's always worn out after she comes over to play! We're lucky to have found her! 

Karen was fantastic with my kids! Very kind and patient and I felt great leaving them with her!

Karen was our nanny from August, 2014 to February, 2015. We are moving out of state so sadly have to part with her. She is amazing! She has taken terrific care of our now 13 month old (she started when she was almost 8 months old). She is rarely sick (had no sick days for the first 6 months), extremely reliable and very caring. 

Our child LOVES Karen. Every morning when she arrives she literally squeals with joy - every day! And I work from home so throughout my day I can hear rolls of laughter coming from my daughter and Karen playing. Karen structures the day perfectly - a good mix of fostering independent play, playing directly with her, dancing with her, reading to her and feeding her. She is great about adjusting our daughter's schedule due to her development (for example, we are in the process of switching her from 2 naps a day to 1 nap a day) and finding new games to do with her.  

One of Karen's best traits is her reliability. We had nannies before where this was an issue, but she is incredibly reliable. It is great saving my leave time for actual vacation! 

She is very good at learning exactly how you would like your child raised, and then does it. She develops a routine or a process (like for cleaning bottles & pacifiers) and then presto she always does it that way. It is quite astonishing. She developed a system for regularly getting our daughter's laundry done and put away, her sheet changed, and some of her other things cleaned weekly without prompting. At the end of every day, she has all the bottles and pacifiers washed ready for the evening and next day. I can't remember a time when I had to remind her.

She also reads up on child development and is very interested in doing activities that foster social, cognitive and motor skills. She also sometimes goes to the library on her own time and picks out music cds that our daughter will like and plays them for her. She also is great at teaching our daughter words - even though she only babbles right now. She is constantly labeling things and getting her interested in words.

Lastly, Karen's got a great easy to be around demeanor.  She is pleasant, upbeat and has a unique gift with children. We highly recommend her for any family and are so sorry to part with her.

Karen is a caring person who is nurturing and responsible.  She has experience and is a great mom!

I have known Karen for many years and have worked with her on a volunteer basis at church. She has massive experience with children of all ages and is an excellent caregiver. She is responsible and cares for your child as if her own. She has also dog/house sat for me for a week and took excellent care of my 4 legged child. I would highly recommend her for any childcare or pet sitting position.
