About Karen

I cared for my mother for 8 years. She had a slow progressing form of Dementia. Through much research I found out things to help with her cognitive decline and implented. I learned much in those 8 years to benefit your loved one. My goal each day was to make mom smile and laugh when possible. I succeeded and am so grateful for that time with her. I am a great companion and am very helpful. I stayed in the Covid Unit with mother for 3 weeks and assisted nurses due to mother's combativeness. I am quite strong. In addition to providing exceptional care I also can maintain your home indoors and out. I have experience with landscaping, remodeling, swimming pools sprinklersystems and lawn maintenance. I also very much enjoy the company of the elderly. I love to play games , cards, puzzles just simple conversations sharing stories and listening to your loved ones cherished memories. I provide transportation to appointments run errands etc. I would love the opportunity be a helpful friend .
