About Karen

As a natural-born caregiver, I have always been passionate about fostering children's development. With over 6 years of experience, I provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can flourish. My calm and creative personality, coupled with my proficiency in English and Portuguese, allows me to effectively communicate with both children and their parents. I believe in open communication with parents and am comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a structured and nurturing environment. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational games that promote learning. My First Aid and CPR training, as well as my experience working with up to 3 children ages 4 mo-12 yo, further enhance my ability to provide exceptional care. In addition, I have experience as a nurse in a children's emergency room, which has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly and effectively in urgent situations.
