About Karen

I am a mom to my sweet 1-year-old daughter and 10-year-old stepson. I have been a paid caregiver for a little over a year (mostly ages 0-5). I have many years of experience watching my nephews and helping with homeschooling (ages 6-16). I'm a graduate with a masters in science and I have previous teaching experience. I can help with homework, test prep, meals, and transportation. I love the outdoors, music, and art. I have Christian values and I prefer interactive play over screen time. I have a professional working background in healthcare and environmental science. I obtained my most recent certification as a law enforcement professional where I trained to provide lifesaving measures. I have some experience with severe autism and Asperger's syndrome. I am not a licensed medical professional, but I can assist with g tubes, breathing treatments and possibly other medically attentive care. I have a clean driving record and can provide documents and references upon request.
