Hola ! I'm Karen from Peru, I haven't update my care. com profile in long time. Because I had a long term family. I moved to Michigan recently and I'm looking for a new amazing family. I came to the USA 12 years ago with the Aupair program and I've been working as a nanny since then. I have experience with new Borns from 4 weeks old and the oldest was 13 years old. I can tech the kids Spanish ( if the parents want) I follow all the milestones for babies, toddlers. Also food is really important. I do meal prep and starting the solids. I also think is very important to take the kids outside the house so they can start socializing with other kids. Story times, little gym, music classes, children museums, playgrounds , etc. I like to help around the house, with laundry , light cleaning and if the kids take naps I can cook for the family. We were so very lucky to have Karen as a nanny for our 2 year old. She is creative, fun, wise, unflappable, patient and extremely hard working. She is full of great ideas and insights about kids. Getting to know her calm and wise perspective made me a more confident mom. Karen found enriching activities and outings to do everyday with our son. She is a fantastic cook and got him to try many new foods. She went above and beyond to help with other household tasks. She was with us at a challenging transition time and helped immensely to successfully potty train our son and to support him in starting day care. We would hire her again in a heartbeat. We were very sad to see her move to another state.
