I have 15 years of experience working with children and adults in an educational/private group home setting . My past experience ranges from working in an ICF group home with developmentally disabled adults to working in a school environment with children dual diagnosed with one of the diagnosis being autism. I have had experience with most of the developmental disabilities, CP, autism, mental retardation and learning disability. I also worked in a day care center with children ages 2-4 I have a diverse background in education ranging from criminal justice to sociology. Currently I am working at a Catholic pre k school with 3-year-olds . This job is very rewarding and I'm very happy. I love working with children I'm also TESOL Certified this stands for teaching English to students of other languages. I have raised my two children and have four grandchildren. I have passed background check and fingerprints checks

We met Karen thru her daughter at church. We have been extremely happy with her taking care of our precious mother. She has full knowledge of how to take care of my mother. She kept a journal from the time she arrived til she left of daily dealings. She came up with delicious meals/snacks for my mom to eat and my mom is a picky eater. She was dependable, always on time and never in a hurry to leave. Karen watched game shows with mom and got her to play along with the show. I miss her with my mom but my brother lost his job and now is home with my mother daily. Someone else will be truly lucky to have her take care of their loved one too. Marla
