About Karen
Experience: 10 yrs
I am a very experienced child care provider with an Early Childhood Education degree, certification in CPR and excellent recent reviews and references. My ideal job consist of working 3 to 4 days per week, totaling 14-20 hours. Currently, I am also available to do one-time child care or to take a temporary position. I've been a part time and full time nanny, substituted in area daycare centers and have had an emergency child care service. I believe that young children learn through play, their daily routines and by example. They should be treated with respect and thoughtfulness. I am healthy, energetic, reliable and kind. My specialty is infants and young babies . My resume and references are available upon request. If you are expecting or if you have a young baby, I am the ideal candidate for helping your family.

We were so fortunate to have Karen as our part-time nanny from February through August of 2025. After only a short time, she felt like part of our family like a third grandma to our son, H. Karen is punctual, professional, and always communicative whenever she needed time off. She engaged H in age-appropriate play, was happy to hold him for contact naps, and before long she was helping him nap longer than we could manage ourselves. She also kindly lent us a play table her grandkids had used, which H loved. Karen’s energy and capability far exceeded our expectations, and her warmth meant so much to our family that we invited her to celebrate H first birthday with us. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a dependable, skilled, and deeply caring nanny.
