My name is Karen. I am a resident of Mobile county and I have been many years. I have worked for the same family for 11 1/2 years. As he has grown up naturally, he wants more independence from the nanny. I look forward to caring for another child and being part of their life. I have a daughter and one grandson. Being a single mom myself for 15 years, I understand the stresses of work and trying to raise a child. I have had the pleasure of teaching Sunday school and VBS with age levels ranging from 2 years. to 13 years of age. I have had the opportunity to work for the YWCA. I worked for a family while they worked in Colorado for a summer. There were 4 children to be taken care of 24/7 for 5 weeks. Truly exhausting, but I made sure I kept them entertained with site seeing and other outings that were both recreational and educational. I would love the opportunity to work with children of any age. I am experienced in CPR and First Aid.

We love Mrs. Karen! She is absolutely wonderful - an answered prayer for our family! My 3 kids (ages 6 months, 4 years, and 5 years) all love and respect her. She is patient and loving with them and great with the daily chores of the house and stepped in to our schedule with ease. We have multiple food allergies and Mrs. Karen has done an amazing job with sticking to our restricted diet taking the time to prepare multiple meals and snacks throughout the day. I would recommend her to any family!
