I spent the last eight years working for the State of Colorado taking care of individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. This included people from 18-80. Most of them required total care including bathing, hygiene, meal preparation and feeding, medications and treatments, therapy and sensory sessions, outings, use of wheelchairs and lifts, laundry and housekeeping. This was a very demanding job that required the ability to multitask and make quick decisions to ensure the safety and well being of our clients. I enjoy caring for others and helping them live their best lives. I started caring for seniors when I started working for the state in 2016. In my spare time, I like to work in my yard and flower gardens, volunteer at church and for the city, stay active and spend time with my family and travel.
