About Karen
Experience: 10 yrs
I'd describe my personality as funny, silly and caring. I have lots of experience with kids I've babysat for years and fostered 8 children from birth to age 18. I like working with kids because I love them and because of my short stature they seem to really like me right off the bat! I'm looking for a job that uses my loving, kind responsible, creative attributes. I started working with kids when I was young I had my first babysitting job probably when I was in 6th or 7th grade. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my "kid housemates". We like to go shopping, do our nails and play restaurant and read books. One thing you should know about me is I'm trustworthy. Karen has been my 9- and 7-year-old daughters’ primary babysitter since they were born, and she has truly become part of our family. She always arrives early to get instructions, ask thoughtful questions, and help with the transition as we head out the door — something I’ve always appreciated. My daughters absolutely adore her. They get excited every single time they see her and love talking about their time together afterward. Karen brings a wonderful mix of reliability, warmth, and fun — I always know our girls are in caring and capable hands when she’s here. I can’t recommend Karen enough to any family looking for someone dependable, nurturing, and genuinely connected to the kids she cares for.
