About Karena

Nurturing young minds is truly my passion. My journey into childcare began with positive babysitting experiences, solidifying my desire to positively impact children's lives. For the past five years, I've cared for children of all ages, from toddlers to pre-teens. I have some college experience and am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I am creative, friendly, and love playing board games and educational puzzles. I am also comfortable enforcing household rules. I am somewhat fluent in Sign Language (ASL). I follow the parents' preferred communication method. I am First Aid certified, and have successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver before. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and experience to your family!
