Hi, how are you? A little about me. I have a daughter who was Developably delayed. I noticed something was off when she was 8 months . And thank God I have a sister who is a speech pathologist. Who guided in the right direction with J. At 13 months she had Speech, Special Ed, Pt, And ot. All coming at my house. J is my 4th child and while all this was going on , I became pregnant with my 5th. We put in the right schools , and whatever she needed to succeed we did it.. She showed how to be patient, and that everything isn't what it seems? She taught me how she navigated through life, through her eyes. And that having tantrums was OK. It's how they perceive there life, at that moment. I didn't know all this. But it was beautiful to see. And I didn't have to figure everything out. Cause little by little she got it. Not everything at once. I was so used to her siblings being independent. Now she's an adult , living on her own. I'm a mom of 5 adults.
