I have nine years of experience working with adolescents (mainly boys) that have learning and emotional disabilities. I do have some training and experience working with children who are diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, ODD, Autism, Asperger's and drug and alcohol issues. Although I have worked with children of all ages I do very well with the teen population. I currently care for a 25-year-old girl with Special Needs two weekends a month. I sleep over from Friday night to Sunday morning and assist her in the shower, prepare meals and take her to planned activities.
