After four years of Covid-induced isolation, during which my 90+ year old mother lived with us, we asked Tan to help us by staying with Mom on weekend days. Tan and Mom quickly became friends and enjoyed many happy hours assembling jigsaw puzzles, playing Jenga, birdwatching and listening to music. Tan was very good at helping Mom find joy in small moments. Tan was also wonderful at learning all of Mom’s many care needs and managing them well. Tan’s love for her job and her clients is easily apparent. Mom has now moved to assisted living, and we’re sad to say farewell to Tan, but glad to think that another family will experience her loving, attentive care.
