Kara has been an excellent Nanny this year for my 2 grandchildren, age 5 & 8. She stepped in during a very difficult situation as the children’s Mother has been bravely fighting cancer, and for these past several months separated from the family, recovering from a life-saving organ transplant. I travel often to help with the children and have seen first hand Kara’s interaction with the children. We couldn’t be more grateful for her warmth and kindness with the children and total understanding of their particular needs during this challenging time. From day one she jumped right in, giving them a continuity with their routine with loving care and the kids have made a real bond with her which has been so heartwarming for me to see. Kara is an excellent artist and incorporates that into her job with exciting Art projects for them. She also goes above and beyond with light housecleaning and organizing meals and schedules. Most importantly she has a wonderful positive spirit, patient, reliable and dependable and our children are very excited when they see her. We couldn’t be happier for that and we highly recommend her for future child care positions!
