I'm Kara! I am a somatic movement, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness teacher for elderly individuals and individuals with disabilities. I have experience working with a wide spectrum of disabilities and ages. I believe that everyone can benefit from mindful movement and breath work and am committed to adapting my work to the specific individuals I work with. I incorporate my clients interests and preferences into individual sessions and am always happy to accommodate and get creative to create a valuable experience for each client. I have experience as a caregiver, life-skills, art, and yoga teacher. I also recently helped start a nonprofit that offers adults with disabilities summer retreats.
