About Kara

Hello Families! My name is Kara and I am 21 years old. I have worked with children from the age of 4 months to 17 years old. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for infants, preschoolers, and special needs children. For the past 5 summers, I have worked at a summer camp! I was a counselor for 3 years, and last year I was the Director for our Daycamp. This summer I am working at the camp as their WSI(Water Saftey Instuctor), conducting swim tests and helping out with swim lessons. My favorite things to do are going on trails, swimming, having fun adventures with my friends, and watching football during the season(Go Steelers!). I am CPR, AED, and First-Aid Certified. During the school year, I work for my school district as a Teaching Assistant for our K-2 Self-Contained Special Education Classroom. I will be available during the breaks, and on the weekends.
