Detail oriented, compassionate, energetic and creative caregiver. I love to craft, sing, cook, and dabble in piano, guitar & ukelele. Since October 2021, I've been caring for a couple in their 80's, one who is on oxygen with severe mobility issues. I assist with mobility, cooking, housekeeping, arts & crafts, administering medications, bathing, errands, transportation to appointments, and any other needs as they've come up. Sadly, my client is going into hospice care and they no longer need my help. For 6 years prior to this I took care of my sister, who sustained a brain injury in 2012, and is non-verbal and paralyzed. My responsibilities included g-tube care, administering medications, meal prep, feeding, grocery shopping, bed baths/showers, toileting, transportation, laundry, and housekeeping. Before my sister's injury I had housekeeping and childcare jobs over the years. I am fully vaccinated, boosted, and practice social distancing.

Kara is a very caring and loving person. She is great with children and mine instantly fell in love with her. Kara provided help with daily chores, babysitting, transportation, cooking meals, and running the occasional errands. Kara is trustworthy hardworking , attentive, and makes great company. Kara provided care for my family while I was on bed rest, recovering postpartum and recovering from surgery. She has been a blessing to our family and I don't know how we would have gotten through all of it without her.
