About Kara

I am a first grade teacher who has experience tutoring/teaching core subjects! I have extensive knowledge within the field of reading and use the science of reading to help students achieve their fluency goals. I base my teaching/tutoring philosophy upon research backed educational methods and have worked with a wide variety of students. I have an undergraduate degree in education from John Carroll University and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College.
