About Kara

I am fun and loving babysitter who enjoys being around children. I come from a big family, so commotion and kids are both something I am very used to. I started as a mothers helper when I was 7 years old. From there I was a baby sitter and a nanny. Post nanny life, I worked for 4 years as a teacher at the New England Center for children with students with autism ranging from ages 7-20. Some of the best years and students ever. I am currently a special education teacher at an elementary school which I love so much. My world revolves around helping children learn and grow! I enjoy crafts, pretend play, going outdoors, singing songs, and just about everything else that goes into being a great babysitter and caregiver. I have my undergrad degree in elementary education and mild to moderate special education and my masters degree in severe special education.
