About Kanela

Hi everyone, I've moved back home to Portland after finishing my Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Science with a focus in Child Development. I have worked in Preschools and have been a Swim Instructor for 8 years and found that I enjoy working with children on a more one on one basis as I feel it develops a better connection and a more secure attachment. My last job was an Assistant Manager at an outdoor pool and am looking for a family to work with this school year. I currently work as a caregiver for senior citizens and people who need assistance. I distribute and monitor medication intake, assist in grocery shopping, household upkeep, transfer assistance, shower and personal hygiene assistance and making meals. I have also been a pet sitter to family friends and others and am able to help walk, feed and check in on your furry friends to you liking.
