About Kandace
Experience: 10 yrs
For over 10 years, I've been dedicated to nurturing children's growth and development, fueled by a genuine passion. My experience in previous babysitting roles solidified my desire to positively impact young lives. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, offering verbal updates at pickup and regular texts. I follow parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I am comfortable caring for one child. I have some college education. I am fluent in English and ASL. I have a car and I am comfortable with pets. I am willing to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. I am First Aid and CPR trained. I also have experience with special needs children, I am a Certified Teacher, and I have Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development Associate (CDA), and Early Child Development Coursework.
Most recent review
Kandace has been great. She has been amazing with our young infant, providing caring support to her over the last few months. We have relied on Kandace as an extended member of the family and highly recommend her. She is reliable, friendly, and great with both our daughter and our dog. She also has helped with light chores like folding the baby's clothes and helping bathe our child. HIGHLY recommend.
