My experience with animals has been a significant part of my life, and it has led me to pursue a degree in Animal Science. I've always felt a deep connection with animals, and studying their behavior and needs has been incredibly fulfilling. So far, I've had the opportunity to work at Highway 30 Vet Clinic as a kennel assistant. This role has been eye-opening; I've not only taken care of a variety of animals but also learned to notice the subtle differences in their behaviors and needs. It feels rewarding to provide care and comfort to them, making sure they are happy and healthy while they stay with us. Working as a kennel assistant also meant I had a chance to be involved in customer service. I enjoyed interacting with pet owners, reassuring them about their pets' care and sharing my knowledge when needed. There's something heartwarming about seeing the joy on an owner's face when they see their pet is well taken care of.
