About Kamila

Hi! I'm a Civil Engineering student at Purdue with a passion for helping students grow in both confidence and academics. I've been helping classmates, friends, and younger students with schoolwork since middle school, and I currently work one-on-one with an elementary-aged student with an IEP, helping him build foundational reading and math skills. Through patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to his learning style, I've watched his confidence grow and his love for reading develop. I believe every student learns differently, so I create a positive, supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. My goal is to help students not only improve academically but also become confident, independent learners who enjoy learning.
