About Kameryn

Hi, I'm Kami! As a former teacher and current attorney, I'm passionate about guiding students or clients toward their goals and tailoring my instruction/communication to meet their specific needs. I have a law degree (Michigan Law), a master's degree in the humanities (UChicago), and four years of experience as a teacher or tutor. I tutor a range of subjects, including English, ESL, test prep, foreign languages, and history, across elementary to college levels. I believe every student has unique potential, and I adapt my teaching by actively listening, varying my strategies, and connecting challenging topics to student interests. I also believe communication is essential; I build trust and provide regular updates to students and parents. I would love to help you or your student succeed!
