Hi! I'm Kamaryn, and I'm certified to tutor thanks to my extensive experience and dedication to helping young learners thrive. As a former Kindergarten teacher at a Catholic school, I was honored with an award from CAPIT Learning and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles for achieving outstanding test scores in phonemic awareness and helping my students master their letter sounds and early reading skills. I've spent years tutoring kids in grades K-2, creating engaging, personalized lessons that make learning both fun and effective. With a degree from Northwestern University and a Master's in Communication Management from USC, I combine a strong educational background with practical, hands-on teaching experience. I'm passionate about helping children build confidence in their academic abilities, especially when it comes to reading and foundational skills.
