I am currently a 3rd grade teacher at Chicago Public Schools looking for part-time or one-time care jobs over the summer. I am 25 years old. I have a Bachelor's in Theatre Arts and a Master's in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Drama Education. I taught at a private preschool/daycare for one year and have been a CPS teacher for two years. Prior to that, I nannied and babysat for neighbors and family friends. I also spent a summer as a children's summer reading program assistant at the Washington-Centerville Public Library in Ohio. I am a passionate, firm but kind caretaker that has a lot of patience and loves to make kids feel safe! I am social justice-minded and want to empower the children I work with to make the choices that feel best for them while also keeping their safety and learning in mind.
