About Kalista

Hi! My name is Kalista, and I have over 10 years of experience babysitting children of various ages, from elementary school through high school. I also have more than 10 years of tutoring experience, supporting students in Spanish and other academic subjects from age 8 through college. I love helping kids build confidence both academically and personally. For the past two years, I've worked full-time with elementary students in Los Angeles through City Year, supporting children in under-resourced schools with both academic and social-emotional needs. I'm comfortable helping with homework, creating structured routines, and fostering a safe, encouraging environment where kids feel supported and valued.
