About Kalista

I have been working with families for 10 years with children ages 5 months to 12 years old! Other experience includes my time working at BounceNRound play center where I hosted birthday parties for 4 years. I have a reliable vehicle for pickups and drop offs and errands if needed! I pride myself on being reliable and communicative! While working with kids I like to make sure I participate in whatever interests them and let the child drive the type of play they would like, for example: reading, make believe, puzzles, drawings, dolls, music. Screen time isn't something I personally love and when I do put it on I like finding shows/ videos that are not highly stimulating and/ or educational (but also fun!) I remember my babysitters when I was a kid (who I am still very close to 10+ years later) Therefore I understand the importance of not only a caretaker but a role model that I hope I can be to the kids I watch!
