About Kalista

I'd describe my personality as active, creative, and proactive. I like working with kids because I love seeing them learn and grow into caring human beings. I also love that no two days are the same; there's always something new. I started working with kids when I was in middle school as a babysitter. Since then, I've worked professionally at daycare facilities, with a nanny agency, and as a full-time nanny. My last nanny job lasted 6 years with the same family. It was a joy to be there from infancy and toddlerhood into early elementary school. In my spare time, I like to hike, ski, play guitar, read, listen to audiobooks, and go for walks. My skills include infant care, reading (both reading to little ones and developing reading skills in pre-school and early elementary school), and quality nutrition offerings.
