About Kalina

I'd describe my personality as calm, patient, compassionate, and reliable. I like working with kids because I believe kids have a unique way of seeing the world and it brings me joy to watch kids come alive when an adult joins them their world. I started working with kids when I was in high school as a babysitter. I was also a nanny for a child with special needs for one summer, two years ago. In my spare time, I like to crochet, scrapbook, do puzzles, play board games, go to the beach, go outside, ride my bike. One thing you should know about me is that I am currently a graduate student studying clinical rehabilitation counseling. I also have my undergraduate degree in counseling and human services with a concentration in lifespan development. My educational background in combination with my experience has given me an advanced skill set to work with your kids.
