About Kalila

I'd describe my personality as calm, creative, and detail-oriented. Kids are fun because they're curiosity and innocence, rolled into a hilarious package. I love a job with specific details when available to work with restrictions, sensitivities, and preferences. The only official capacity I have worked with kids was with a brief summer stint in high school volunteering at a camp for kids with special needs. But, I was 13 when my brother was born, and have thus changed diapers, prepped meals, managed activity schedules, helped with homework, done activities, and kept calm with a frustrated kid near. I draw, paint, cook/bake, read, watch movies, go on nature walks, go to concerts, and generally do creative things. About me: I am a graduate student, but the lab I work in closes at a set time, so my availability won't randomly change.
